The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
